In light of the disparities in knowledge and resources individuals can access based on socio-economic background and privilege, The Legacy Project is determined to break down information gaps and serve as a bridge that connects all students to the opportunities they deserve, equipped with the skills necessary to enter higher education spaces.
Particularly, for prospective University students and Apprentices, we will be focusing on helping students build their academic portfolios by:
- Hosting subject-specific seminars providing insights into degree courses
- Publishing documents with resources (including books, articles, journals, podcasts and more) that students can utilise to immerse in a subject beyond the A-Level syllabus
- Providing a personal statement service whereby all students can have their personal statements reviewed by Oxbridge and other Russel Group University students studying the same or a similar course
- Releasing instructional videos providing tips on how to perform well in admissions tests, interviews and final exams
